September 1

During my presentation at the Adventure Travel Film Festival I mentioned I was co instigator of the National Wear Shorts to Work Day. We chose September the first as it’s the first day of spring. In fact Mel and I wear shorts to work every day from then until the long weekend in June.

Mel and I both work at Cradle Mountain and it can snow any time of year so some days we might be wearing gloves and a beanie, but we still have our shorts on.
