I think Ivan and I both started working at Cradle in the same summer eight years ago. Ivan as a shuttle driver and me with Parks. More recently we both, unknowingly bought houses in Sulphur Creek. Ivan is a wonderful person and with his mate Lindsay (duck!) has always had time to listen to my woes and help me keep things in perspective.
When I first bought my camper van it was a bit retro and didn't have a CD player, only cassette player. Bronwyn and I did the rounds of the op shops in Ulverstone looking for music cassettes to play in the van. We found many, and among them was one of Ivan's. He is a guitarist and sings accompanying his wife and sister in law. It's one of my faves to play when I'm in a reflective mood. More recent musical productions of Ivan's have include him yodelling. I'm sure he probably cringes when he hears my fun attempt to yodel.
I came across a Church of Saint Ivan in central Croatia. now there was a photo opportunity.
From Croatia I then rode to Montenegro where Mel and Geoff had set me a challenge. To hike to to the top of San Giovanni Fortress. The path heads up from the old quarter in Kotor.
