Mediterranean Sea, Moroccan Style

Clear warm water, lots of shells and pure white foam. I'm impressed.

I'm very near to the Straits of Gibraltar, but you can't quite see The Rock from here.

 bad hair day!!!

bad hair day!!!

And the amazing little bike that has just done nearly 5000 trouble free km in Morocco

This section of coast is actually Spanish. So riding along the coast today we started in Tetouan, Morocco heading west through Ceuta, Spain and a very busy modern port city, reminded me of the iphone app game Harbour Master. I loved that and used to play it a lot in my Hotham days!!    Then still heading west we rode back into Morocco,  to the city of Tangier, spelt Tanger for the Moroccans. Time for a quick look around, buy some dates and pistachios. A kilo of each probably cost us about $5 total!!  Customs and immigration on the Moroccan side was a situation of hurry to wait three times, one of the 20 minute waits included being able to watch our bikes pass through an X-ray scanner.... they where looking for bodies!! Illegal immigrants. Not even children would fit in the top boxof a BMW.   Bye bye Morocco, beautiful Mediterranean coast line. See you next week when I spend some time in Gibraltar.
